Owner, Trainer

Not coming from an equine family, Carolyn found her way into horses after moving to Florida in 1996. She quickly discovered a passion for the American Quarter Horse and spent her high school years showing in AQHA, APHA, and PHBA, allowing her love and knowledge of horses to grow.

Wanting to further her education in the equestrian field, Carolyn attended Delaware Valley College, where she earned a degree in Equine Science and Business Management. Her studies focused heavily on equine reproduction, including stallion handling and training, breeding management, live cover, artificial insemination, foaling mares, and neonatal care. In addition to extensive hands-on equine coursework, the program included a strong business component with equine-specific classes designed to prepare students for the operational and management side of the industry.

Following college, Carolyn worked for breeding farms, veterinarians, and trainers, expanding her experience across all areas of the equine industry. Throughout her career, she has trained horses to numerous prestigious titles, including futurity champions, NSBA World and Reserve World Champions, Top 10 placings, Reserve Congress Championships, Color Congress Championships and Reserves, PHBA World Show Championships and Reserve Championships, APHA and ApHC Championships, as well as multiple Top 3, Top 10, and finalist placings. Her experience spans Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, and All-Around events.

In addition, Carolyn has helped clients succeed across multiple disciplines, including dressage, hunter/jumpers, barrel horses, and more. To her, being a great horseman means being well-rounded across disciplines—but above all, prioritizing the care, health, and well-being of the horse. She continually strives to expand her knowledge and stay current in best practices within the industry.

Carolyn also serves on the board of directors for the North Florida Equestrian Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that manages the Jacksonville Equestrian Center. Currently serving as Vice Chairman, she is deeply passionate about the success of the facility and its role as a vital asset to the Jacksonville community—particularly the city’s Westside.

She is also a newly appointed board member of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, further reflecting her commitment to animal care, education, and community engagement.
